How the Italian Sweet Bread Wreaths came to Tripician's Macaroons

It wouldn't be Easter if I didn't share the story about how the Italian Easter Bread came to Tripician's. Easter 2008 my Mom taught my son and I how to bake our family-recipe Italian Sweet Bread. It was a tradition in my home growing up. Each year my Grandmother would make my sister, brother and I one each. She fashioned them of a braided dough with criss-cross smaller pieces that held colored, hard-boiled eggs in the bread as it baked. We eagerly awaited our wreats that she brought to our home from her home in Atlantic City, NJ. We'd bend the soft buttery treat and break pieces off to enjoy throughout Easter, This is Tripician's 16th year baking these traditional Easter wreaths for our customers to enjoy nationwide.
